Danique's current projects and collaborations are focussed on:

  • The role of emotion in social information processing in aggressive behavior 
  • The use of Virtual Reality as tool in addition to general aggression treatment
  • How the hostile interpretation bias and impaired emotion recognition are associated with aggressive behavior
  • The use of Virtual Reality as assessment tool for sex offenders
  • The development of the Dutch version of the Displaced Aggression Questionnaire 
  • The development of the Dutch version of the Reactive Proactive Aggression Questionnaire for Adults
